Welcome on Laurent's Website

Laurent Bricteux holds  a professor position in the field of energy conversion systems at the faculty of engineering, University of Mons (UMONS).

Laurent Bricteux is teaching at UMONS turbomachinery, compressors, steam and gas turbines, internal combustion engines and turbulence.

He is also head of studies in energy engineering at UMONS and invited professor at ECAM Brussels engineering school as well as Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain (EPL).

His research field mainly concerns numerical simulation of turbulent fluid flows (also reacting) applied to energy applications. These applications include massively parallel large eddy simulation (LES) of wind and gas turbines flows as well as modeling of gas turbines cycles.
